The annual Hasselblad Masters Award celebrates the best professional photographers, established and up-and-coming, by recognizing outstanding creativity, composition, conceptual strength, and technical skill. All winners will receive the use of an H4D digital camera system to create images for the Masters program and for a special Masters Commemorative book, which showcases the virtuosity and versatility of Hasselblad cameras and photographers.

This year, Hasselblad introduced an additional category for entries, Wildlife Photography, which means the Masters designation will be awarded in 11 photo specialties—Fine Art, Nature/Landscape, Social/Wedding, Portrait, Fashion, Editorial, Product, Architecture, General Photography, Up and Coming, and Wildlife.

The Hasselblad Masters program is again created in collaboration with HP, Hahnemuehle, SanDisk, and Broncolor. HP printed last year the 100 finalist images with their Designjet Z3200 Photo Printer on the TIPA award-winning Photo Rag Baryta paper from Hahnemuehle. TIPA-winning Broncolor - for Best Studio Flash Generator: Broncolor Scoro A4S - was providing high-end lighting equipment for the exhibition, and SanDisk is supplying CompactFlash memory cards to the winners, as they did last year.

To view all submitted images, log on to Hasselblad Masters. Interested in submitting your images? Entries will be accepted through December 31, 2010. For your chance to become a Hasselblad 2010 Master, click here.
