Hasselbuddy - Customer Care and Support
The intention of the Hasselblad UK Service Price Guide is to inform Hasselblad owners, in advance, of the potential cost for labour and parts (where stated as a fixed price repair), to clarify the work carried out and to state the terms of our warranty for such work.
The guide is in four parts, each containing details on pricing and description of work for:
- Digital Products
- H-System
- V-System
- Scanners
By providing this information we also aim to avoid the need for a written estimate, which can be misleading and result in unnecessary delays in the completion and return of equipment.
Estimates
All requested estimates are subject to a charge of £40 + VAT, and a further £40 + VAT if your requested estimate is subsequently declined. This charge is to cover our technician's time, administration costs and return carriage of the unrepaired equipment.
Fixed Price Repairs
Most Digital Backs, associated products and DSLR repairs are returned by us to the factory, where the target turnaround time is 10 working days plus transportation to and from the factory.
To alleviate any disruption to your workflow whilst your equipment is being repaired at the factory, replacement equipment can often be made available for hire at preferential rates (50% discount from our hire list price) - please ask for details.
